Among a family of artists, Gaya Wisniewski was “born in pencils and papers”. She studied illustration at Saint-Luc Institute in Brussels and became a drawing teacher. Simultaneously she animated workshops in Wolf, the house of children’s literature in Belgium. That confirmed her wish to tell stories. In 2016, she left Belgium for the Gers region in France, where she concentrated on illustration.

About the Book
Gaya Wisniewski’s book Mon Bison is now available in Hindi!
It is a sweet story of a young girl and her lifelong relationship with a Bison that visits her only during winters. Each winter she meets him, shares all kinds of news with him. She hugs him, eats with him and tries to feed him all the delicacies she has tried for him. Sometimes he eats, sometimes he doesn’t. They both understand each other and give enough space to each other to be themselves.
