The French Institute of India is supporting and monitoring student mobility through its close work with Campus France in India. The best way to achieve the highest standards in selecting and welcoming international students is to consolidate, to strengthen MOUs (exchange programs, double degrees agreement), between french and Indian Higher Education Institutions, in the context of France’s new strategy « Bienvenue en France » which aims to develop the attractiveness of the french system of higher education.

The Higher Education Cooperation team oversees the scholarship programs that are offered in order to support scholarly exchanges between France and India. Every bond that France and India create, in training students from the Bachelor up to the PhD level, creates long-standing ties between the two countries through a mutual enrichment of their youth. Developing partnerships with academic institutions, universities and research centres is a key priority and strength of the French Institute in India.
