Promoting professional mobility fosters exchanges that evolve into enduring collaborations between the two countries. To achieve this and build lasting relationships, the French Institute in India supports training programs and grants for artists and professionals in partnership with French and Indian institutions, while also assisting professionals in their research and documentation throughout various studies conducted during the year.

Recently, the French Institute launched a flagship initiative named Villa Swagatam—a network of creative residencies across India, Bangladesh, and France—offering mobility of a minimum of 1 month up to 3 months in inspiring environments. Find out more on the dedicated page.
