The French International School of Pondicherry (FISP), established in 1826, has been in India for two centuries and welcomes French, Indian and international students. Its existence in the country for almost 200 years, reflects the enduring bond France shares with India. It also reinforces the long experience of providing education to non-French students. FISP, being managed directly by the Government of France, subsidises each child’s education by 60% to provide quality education at an affordable cost to all families, especially Indian families. This again reaffirms the deep ties France is strengthening with India.
