The 2024 Olympic (26th July to 11th August) and Paralympic (28th August to 8th September) Games will be held in Paris and organised by the Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (OCOG) Paris 2024.

On 28th June 2023, the President of the ‘Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024’, Mr. Tony Estanguet and the Secretary General of ‘Francophonie’, Louise Mushikiwabo signed an agreement at the OIF Headquarters in Paris on the use and promotion of the French language and Francophonie at the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris in 2024.

On this occasion, the French Institute in India is launching the “Égalité en action” competition and inviting French students from schools, universities and Alliances Françaises in India to promote the Paris 2024 edition of the Olympic Games highlighting their support and promotion of inclusivity.

All participants are invited to form teams and make a creative video clip each, promoting equality in sports. The aim of the competition is to raise students’ awareness of the fight against discrimination in sports, and to help them understand the cultural and linguistic differences of the French-speaking world through creativity.
