Parth Bharadwaj has been a professional contemporary dancer since 2008. Trained initially in Kathak and classical ballet, he went on to graduate with distinction from the diploma program in Movement and Mixed Media Arts at the Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts, Bangalore.

Actively engaged in creating choreographic work, designing dance modules, and facilitating movement technique classes, Parth’s practice explores the intersection of the body, performance, politics, and community. As a senior member of the acclaimed Attakkalari Dance Repertoire, he has performed the company’s productions on prestigious international platforms including Europalia, the New Prague Festival, Tari (Kuala Lumpur), and the Guangzhou Festival.

Over the years, he has collaborated with and learned from leading choreographers and mentors such as Jayachandran Palazhy, Kenan Dinkleman, Richard Siegel, Wayne McGregor, Samir Akika, Yola Yulifianti, Nicole Sieler, John Britto, Vikram Sridhar, Neeraj Kabi, Foofwa Imombilite, and Jose Agudo.

Parth is currently part of Citizens of Stage Co Lab, a collective of independent dancers in Bangalore. He continues to contribute to education and outreach initiatives in contemporary dance, both in India and internationally.
