A spectacular performance that stormed the opening of the Olympic Games in Paris is coming to India in October. French Company Gratte Ciel, with their ethereal dance and acrobatics performance Rozeo, where three performers perch themselves on 6 meter tall poles, is sure to captivate the audiences.
This living installation is inspired by nature and invites you to immerse yourself in the landscape and the beauty of the world around.
Take a deep breath, settle down and look up as Gratte Ciel’s virtuosic and entrancing performers take to the sky. With a live music pavilion that improvises to the performance as it evolves, this is nothing like anything you have seen before!

The Performance
Perched on frail metal poles, carried by an imperceptible breath, they oscillate gently. They move the sky and dance in the restless air. Like the reeds of the Camargue, they interact with the landscape. They evoke images of shepherdesses, witches, priestesses or amazons. They invite us to look into the distance and feel the breath of air.
Whispered, murmured, whistled sounds, a live musician accompanies the installation. Between pre-recorded electronic music and field recording, the score doubles as live work around the voice and multiple instruments.
Suspension, immobility, slow oscillations invite contemplation, to take a “wide angle” look. RoZéO is a living installation to be observed slowly, a deep breath with the sky as its horizon.
