This global event, now in its 8th year, brings together contemporary art, cutting-edge technology, and innovative discussions, offering audiences a unique journey into the digital realm.

Looki Look: An Augmented Reality Exhibition by Aurélien Jeanney

Looki Look, an innovative augmented reality exhibition by internationally renowned French artist Aurélien Jeanney, will be showcased across all 15 Alliance Française branches in India. This larger-than-life interactive look-and-find game seamlessly combines beauty, poetry, and technology, creating a playful universe rich with vibrant colors and soundscapes. Using the Maison Tangible App, visitors can hover over the artworks with their devices, bringing each image to life as it narrates a unique story. Audiences can immerse themselves in captivating scenes, from an Indian flower market to a Hindu temple.
The artist behind Looki Look, Aurélien Jeanney, will also tour several Indian cities, including Udaipur, Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, Trivandrum, Bangalore, and Bhopal.
During his tour, Jeanney will lead a series of workshops and conferences, introducing audiences to the world of augmented reality and his creative process. “I am absolutely thrilled to be returning to India for this year’s Digital November festival to present my Looki Look project for the first time. The response to augmented reality during my previous visit was incredibly rewarding, and I look forward to continuing the conversation with the Indian audience.”, expressed the artist.
Francophonie in All Its Forms: An Augmented Reality Artistic and Sound Mural

Another exciting event for Novembre Numérique 2024 is the Francophonie in All Its Forms exhibition, presented at all 15 Alliance Française branches across India. This artistic and sound mural in augmented reality, created by Elsa Mroziewicz, Cécile Palusinski, and Amélie Weigel, celebrates the richness and diversity of the Francophone world. The project invites participants to explore five artistic panels, each representing a Francophone region, brought to life through augmented reality. The first chapter will feature voices from the Indian Ocean Francophonie, highlighting the diversity and shared challenges of Francophone territories.
Immersive Virtual Reality Experiences
This year’s festival features an exceptional lineup of Virtual Reality (VR) experiences, offering audiences a chance to immerse themselves in the realms of art, heritage, and history.

Get ready to encounter the Mona Lisa beyond the glass and explore the iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral in a way that transcends time and space.”
These immersive VR experiences allow audiences to engage with masterpieces and historical landmarks in ways that transcend traditional art viewing. Some of the must-see VR exhibitions include:
● 1, 2, 3 Bruegel! – A playful hide-and-seek adventure inside Pieter Bruegel the Elder’s “Children’s Games.”
● The Water Lilies – Experience Claude Monet’s obsession with his water lily garden in Giverny.
● Éternelle Notre-Dame – Explore Paris’ iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral through time, from medieval construction to modern-day restoration.
● Mona Lisa: Beyond the Glass – Step into the Louvre’s first-ever VR experience to see Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa like never before.
