This is an online gathering where Ari Gautier, the author of Thinnai stories, and Shamika Andrade, the Development in-charge of AF Panjim, come together with a new French author to explore their literary journey and delve deeper into their works, all while enjoying a glass of wine, a cup of coffee, or a refreshing Nimbu soda.

Conceived by Ari Gautier, the series draws inspiration from the Thinnais of Pondicherry and metaphorical Thinnais worldwide. Spearheaded by Ari Gautier, Shamika Andrade, the French Institute in India, and Dogears bookshop, this collaborative endeavor promises to offer a captivating exploration of the literary and cultural intersections of Indian, Indian Ocean, and French culture and history.

You can also join the sessions at Dogears bookshop physically if you’re in Goa, where you can also discover more French literature at the Pardon my French! corner.

Authors such as Ananda Devi, Priya Hein, and Vidya Vencatesan have previously participated in these sessions.
