The Université d’Été Programme is a prestigious two-month training course at La Fémis, one of the top film schools in the world, under the French Ministry of Culture. This program is designed for 12 to 15 young directors or film students from across the globe, offering them hands-on technical knowledge and practical training to excel in documentary filmmaking.

Scholarship Opportunity for Indian Filmmakers
Each year, the French Embassy in India awards a fully funded scholarship to ONE talented Indian filmmaker selected for the programme. The scholarship includes:

Dates: 9th July to 5th September 2025
Fluency in written and spoken French is expected. Non-francophone candidates must possess a minimum A2-level certification.
Candidates must be under 27 years of age as of 1st January 2025.
