Subhashree Beeman

Literary translator

I hope this residency provides the space and stillness to immerse myself in Maylis de Kerangal’s Un monde à portée de main, as I progress in its Tamil translation. This residency will deepen my literary voice through an intimate dialogue between two languages and cultures. I also look forward to meaningful exchanges with fellow artists and hope to leave with a renewed vision of my craft.
