Visual Artist
During the residency, I wish to immerse myself humbly in a site rich in history and spirituality. My research will take shape in direct dialogue with the place, allowing the context to guide the process. It will find its expression through the artisanal tools available, fostering a sensitive and site-specific approach.
Marion Flament, born in 1989 in Reims, is a visual artist whose work explores the spirit of places through materials, light, and space. Trained at École Boulle and EnsAD Paris, then at Parque Lage in Rio de Janeiro, she pursued a postgraduate in interactive light at EnsAD-LAB. Her background in scenography informs her sculptural practice, often centered on glass and fire-based techniques. Represented by Romero Paprocki (Paris) and RHK Studio (Asia), she collaborates widely and has received support from institutions such as the Fondation des Artistes, ADAGP, CNAP, and Hermès. She has held residencies in Arles, Lisbon, Paris, and Madrid, enriching her experimental approach to installation.
