Architect and Designer
I aim to bridge European and Indian design practices, blending my Indian heritage with European techniques. Specializing in 20th-century furniture design, I work with materials such as wood, metal, and textiles, focusing on sustainability and the fusion of upholstery with woodwork. My sculptural, organic designs are inspired by modern classics, integrating these influences into my practice.
Architect and Designer Kunaal Kyhaan Seolekar, a Parsons School of Design graduate, is the founder of KOY (contemporary home design and furniture), studioHAUS (award-winning architecture and interior design), and KOYTOY (Indian fashion label). His bold, playful designs, showcased globally and featured in leading home decor magazines, earned him Elle Decor India’s EDIDA “Designer of the Year” in 2019 and the "Young Talent Award" in 2017. Known for introducing biomorphic forms and natural motifs into Indian design, Kyhaan continues to innovate across architecture, interior, and home design with a unique, imaginative flair.
