Artist
During the residency, my focus will delve into the intersection of architecture and construction techniques, a realm where India's diverse methods offer a stark departure from European norms, presenting a unique opportunity for exploration.
Ada, a visionary artist from Kazakhstan now based in Paris, graduated from Chelsea College of Art in 2009. Her multidisciplinary practice spans installation, film photography, performance, and cinema, deeply influenced by scenographic and neo-archeological elements. Her work invites viewers to explore the boundaries between space and structure, probing tensions between obsolescence and memory. Ada’s multicultural background—Korean, Ukrainian, Kazakh, raised in London, and living in Paris since 2010—gives her a broad perspective. Drawing from architectural research and global projects, her works are showcased across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
