Sophie Henaff

Sophie Hénaff, born August 9, 1972, is a French journalist, novelist and translator, author of three humorous crime novels.

She is a journalist at Cosmopolitan, where she has a humorous column known as La Cosmolite. She is also the author of Poulets Grillés, her debut novel that won the Polar en séries prize (Quais du polar), the 2015 Arsène Lupin prize and the prize for the best French-language detective novel. It’s a humorous crime novel, tinged with feminism, whose story is centered on a squad of 36, quai des Orfèvres led by the young and dynamic commissioner Anne Capestan. Two other novels follow in this serie: Rester groupés in 2016 and Art et Décès in 2019 published by Albin Michel.
