IFI's new Innovation & Multimedia department has chosen new French films for the screenings at Habitat Film Club. These films reflect the range of contemporary French cinema which goes beyond comedy to social drama to encompass the supernatural. All of the above highly-select films promise narrative and visual delights – not least among them is “Cowboys,” partially shot in India.

With 1,200 exhibitors, 45 countries represented, 800 talks and events, 3,000 authors at signing sessions; Livre Paris is an excellent place for all those involved in publishing to meet each other.

The call for applications for the Raman-Charpak PhD Fellowship is now open for 2016 !

The Raman-Charpak Fellowship is the only Indo-French bilateral Fellowship programme jointly funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India and the Science & Technology Department of the French Embassy in India, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of France. It will allow highly qualified PhD students registered in an Indian or French Research Institute/University to carry out a part of their research project in France/India. Gout de France 2016 - Win a voyage to France

Anand Mahindra, chairman of the Mahindra Group, has been conferred France’s highest distinction.

H.E. François Richier, ambassador of France to India, conferred the Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur (Knight of the Legion of Honour) on Anand Mahindra in France on March 5, 2016.
