IFI's new Innovation & Multimedia department has chosen new French films for the screenings at Habitat Film Club. These films reflect the range of contemporary French cinema which goes beyond comedy to social drama to encompass the supernatural. All of the above highly-select films promise narrative and visual delights – not least among them is “Cowboys,” partially shot in India.

Institut français India is happy to participate at The Paris Book Fair 2017 (37th edition), “Livre Paris 2017”, from 24th to 27th March. With 1,200 exhibitors, 45 countries represented, 800 talks and events, 3,000 authors at signing sessions; Livre Paris is an excellent place for all those involved in publishing to meet each other.

French Children's Book Authors to Tour India

The Book Office of the Embassy of France in India / Institut français India is pleased to invite French authors and illustrators Coralie Saudo and Kris Di Giacomo to participate in the 9th edition of Bookaroo, the much-awaited children’s literature festival that will take place in Delhi on November 26th and 27th. Organized by the Bookaroo Trust, the festival will bring together speakers from all over the world during two days to celebrate children’s books. Prior to the festival, the outreach programme “Bookaroo in the City” will bring authors and illustrators directly to schools.


Achal Pandya to participate at Courants du monde training program in Paris

Courants du Monde programme is a residency and training programme for foreign professionals working in cultural fields, initiated by French Ministry of Culture and Communication, and produced by Maison des cultures du Monde (World Cultures Institute).
With the support of Institut français India, M. Achal Pandya has been selected to be part of 2016 programme dedicated to Finance and Economy of Culture, from 10th to 21st October 2016 in Paris (Université Paris-Dauphine).
