Institut français India is happy to participate at The Paris Book Fair 2017 (37th edition), “Livre Paris 2017”, from 24th to 27th March. With 1,200 exhibitors, 45 countries represented, 800 talks and events, 3,000 authors at signing sessions; Livre Paris is an excellent place for all those involved in publishing to meet each other.

The Embassy of France / French Institute in India has organized from 21th to 25th May in Chandigarh a training course of creation of contents and training of authors and moderators for “La Salle des Profs”.

Developed on the initiative of the linguistic and educational Department (SLE) of the French Institute in India, La Salle des Profs (http: // india.salledesprofs.org) is an educational platform coupled with a social network for the professors of French in India.

Pondicherry, Photo essay by Sebastian Cortes

Mr Jean-Marin Schuh, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of France in India, the Institut Français en Inde, and Roli Books together presented Pondicherry, a photo essay by noted French photographer Mr Sebastian Cortés on Wednesday, 2 May 2012 at the Residence of France New Delhi.

Sebastian Cortés was joined in the presentation of the book by Aman Nath, co-Chairman Neemrana Hotels, founder member of INTACH. Oroon Das, theatre actor, read excerpts from the book to a packed audience.
